Meet Max

Protecting More
Than Property.

Named Emerald by the rescue center and adopted as Max by our team, Max the Emerald Turtle carries both names — a bond between the marine rescuers who saved him and the MaxImpact family championing his return.

His story is one of rescue, resilience, and return. What began on the shores of Long Island became a symbol of everything the MaxImpact initiative stands for — giving back to the community and the world around us.

Rescued

Officially named Emerald by his rescuers, this Atlantic green sea turtle was found cold-stunned on Steers Beach in Northport, NY on Veterans Day by Lenore McGinn — wife of Max Security USA owner Pete McGinn — and rushed to safety by first responders.

Rehabilitated

The New York Marine Rescue Center spent months nursing Max back to full health.

Why We're Involved

Max Security USA adopted Max, funding his tracking and release — protecting more than property.
